Wade Research, Inc., is a professional consulting business, incorporated under the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in November 1992, and dedicated to providing cost-effective geochemical and oceanographic research services to a variety of private and public organizations such as industrial clients and law firms.

Wade Research, Inc. (WRI) was founded under the guiding principles that high level technical services for organic biogeochemistry and petroleum geosciences can be both cost and technically effective at the same time. Dr. Michael J. Wade is Principal Scientist of Wade Research, Inc.™. Dr. Wade is an internationally recognized organic geochemist with 45 years of post-doctoral experience and over 56 post-baccalaureate years of strong technical and project management experience in a variety of research programs with special emphasis on study of petroleum pollution in the environment. He regularly provides expert forensic services both through deposition process as well as court testimony in the areas of environmental geosciences, including assessment of sources of contamination, identification of petroleum product types and age-dating of petroleum product releases. Dr. Wade has extensive peer-reviewed technical publication experience and is the author of textbook chapters on forensic geochemistry and professional conduct of forensic geochemical investigations. In addition, Dr. Wade has authored four highly regarded peer-reviewed journal articles on the conduct of expert testimony and the technical execution of environmental forensic investigations.
